FILMING DAY 2

Our second day of filming required us to film all scenes with the family. As it is a family being shows we were working with actors of both very young age and adults. This meant we wanted to get all filming done, requiring them, on that day so as to not make them travel out any more than they need to. As a result we had to organise our day efficiently, with meeting points, timings and schedules followed strictly.
Our first location was Tonbridge Park. We arrived early in the day to ensure members of the public were not in the park to disrupt our filming.
The filming ran smoothly, the only hindrance being the rain which started towards the end of our filming.
Once this scene was filmed, with extra shots of the park done, we drove to Penshurst where our next location was. The dinner table scene required many props which we organised before hand. Setting them up took time as we had to heat up the microwave dinner and move furniture to give the look we wanted for this scene. Lots of retakes were essential as we had to make sure all family members were looking in the right direction, not smiling and in the correct position.
Overall this filming day was successful as we got two major scenes filmed with little setbacks.
