TRAILER 6 - BACK TO THE FUTURE
Back to the future
This teaser trailer is 1 minute 23 seconds which conforms to the trailer type. It starts with close ups of the main character focusing on different parts of him, such as his shoes. These shots are alternated with extreme close ups of different features on the car. All of these close ups have very electrical looks to them, showing that technology is a big part of the film. The full face of the character is only shown at roughly 1 minute in. He also looks straight at the camera and says a line of dialogue which gives the audience some more of the plot.
The theatrical trailer is 1 minute 43 seconds long which is not much longer than the teaser however it gives a lot more because of the fast pace. There is a theatrical voice over, which is not in the actual film, giving a summary of the plot. It is accompanied by shots from the film and some diegetic dialogue.
